ELSTAT: Unemployment at 12.8% in February

According to data released yesterday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in February 2022 stood at 12.8% compared to 16.1% in February 2021 and the upwardly revised 12.9% in January 2022. The employed amounted to 4,118,939 persons, an increase of 455,115 persons compared to February 2021 (+12.4%) and by 112,391 persons compared to January 2022 (+2.8%). The unemployed amounted to 603,025 persons, a decrease of 99,441 persons compared to February 2021 (-14.2%) and an increase of 7,428 persons compared to January 2022 (+1.2%).
